We are Domestic Energy Assessors based at Braunston nr Daventry Northamptonshire. We cover Daventry, Towcester, Rugby and surrounding villages. We can provide Energy Performance Certificates for Businesses, Home Owners and Private Landlords. As we do not use sub-contractors to carry out our customers Energy Surveys we believe this enables us to maintain a high level of quality control, customer satisfaction and helps prevent any conflict of interest with any other party.

A current Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is mandatory whenever you wish to sell or let a property. An EPC is also required if you apply for Feed in Tariffs, Renewable Heat Incentives and as a part of the Goverments new Green Deal. This is an EU directive in compliance with the Housing Act 2004 and the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. The EPC will tell you how energy efficient your property is, and suggest how you can improve the energy efficiency of your property. This can only be carried out by an accredited Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA). G B Domestic Energy Assessors are able to provide this service.

Once you have contacted us, our DEA will visit your property to carry out the energy survey. He is required to inspect numerous elements of the dwelling some of which are as follows: Take measurements of the property - Survey heating systems and controls - Hot water cylinder (if fitted) - Inspect utility meters - Windows and doors - Loft space and walls for insulation - Record age and construction of the property. Our Prices start at £50 and are not subject to VAT.
